I went to Paso Robles High School from 1984-1988 and ran cross country and track. I joined the military in 1988 and got my MOS training in Fort Gordon, Georgia. In December of 1990 I crossed from Saudi Arabia into Iraq during Desert Storm with General Franks and his company of Military Police and our 51st Signal Company for support. Then I lived in Germany for around 8 years.
I have worked at fast food restaurants, as a Mobile Disc Jockey, at UPS, and the military. I got a degree in Humanities from College of the Redwoods in Eureka and an E-Business Certificate from Consumes River College in Sacramento, USA. Currently I live in Southern California, USA.
Even if I am bi-polar, Rafael is a son, father, uncle, brother, cosmic, cousin, friend...
Big shout out to Soundwaves in America and Everybody in Europe especially Germany for all your influences of electronic music and Welcome!
Hello there. My name is Rafael and I have an array of artistic actions I take and make with the art of: music, painting, photography, and writing.
So I got my start in playing music for others in high school, with not a great mixer (I had a Radio Schack AMP/4 Channel mixer). Before high school I got violin lessons and played music for my family at gatherings. In high school I went to my first dance as a freshman and decided to become a Mobile DJ. I was all about the new music every week and as many 12" versions I could get my hands on. I worked for SoundWaves Z-93 Radio station Mobile DJ. I played music at wedding receptions, jr. high dances, high school dances, company events, private events, and I even rented out the Grange Hall and threw my own dance with DJ Augiee Dee. I started with Technics or Numark tables: however, I used IOWA Tape Decks at first.
Most of the music I played was: R&B, rap, Top 40, pop, dance extended mixes (12" Vinyl), rock, metal, alternative and new wave music as a Mobile DJ.
When I lived in Germany for about 7 years I learned electronic dance music, Techno, House and Trance all now called EDM music.
My all time favorite club was the Dorian Gray at the airport in Frankfurt.
Best music parade I have been to was the Love Parade in Berlin after Germany got East Germany and East Berlin back from Communist Russia.
The best summer of music I've ever experienced was in Ibiza.
Raf and out!
The mix below is short but upbeat, I recommend quality speakers.
